India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, with its growth accelerating from $1.9 billion in 2016 to $9.4 billion in 2021, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Statistics.
The country is the third largest in terms of merchandise trade volume behind China and Brazil.
In India, a lot of businesses have tried to get online, but the process is slow and difficult.
Many businesses also lack infrastructure and the internet is slow to reach rural areas, especially in rural areas.
The internet is also a big challenge in the rural areas in India, where the population is small.
The online store is a first for Flipkarted, the online retailer in India.
The store will be open to customers who have not yet tried ecommerce in India and is the first such store to be opened in India since 2013, according the company.
The company plans to roll out more online shops across the country in the coming months.
“The Indian government has supported the development of the ecommerce industry by creating a dedicated infrastructure to support the industry,” said Sanjeev Kumar, chief executive of Flipkarte.
“We have always encouraged startups to focus on ecommerce and we are pleased that our first store will serve as an example to other startups.
We are proud of the strong growth of our ecommerce business and are committed to increasing it.”
The store is expected to be fully operational by December 2019, according an official statement.
