By now you’ve probably heard about the YouTube video that ended up going viral.
The video features a dog, wearing a “T-shirt with your dog’s name on it,” running through a maze with its arms up.
“We are trying to make it viral,” the narrator says.
“What’s happening here is our dog is running around the house in a maze.
She’s running with her arms up, with no leash on.
It’s like a maze game.
But then she’s coming to a point.
The point is that she hits the door.”
And here’s where things get really interesting.
It turns out that the dog, who appears to be a Labrador retriever named Rachael, has a mental illness.
The narrator says the dog has a condition called spastic quadriplegia, a condition that causes extreme movements, such as falling down stairs.
The dog, whose name is Rachiel, is suffering from severe spastic paraplegia, which means she has paralysis and difficulty walking.
Rachel is one of thousands of dogs in the United States who have suffered from spastic spinal cord injuries that affect their movements.
“So when the dog goes into the maze, she goes in the opposite direction,” the narration says.
And Rachul, who’s known to be extremely affectionate, is in an extreme situation.
She has trouble seeing, and she’s very anxious.
The dogs owner, Michelle Pritchett, says she’s been caring for Rachuel since she was a baby.
“She’s always been the first one to take me out to play, and I’ve always been her most affectionate dog,” Pritchettt told ABC News.
“And I’m a mom to four kids, and all of a sudden, I’ve got this little puppy, and we’re all thinking, ‘Why does this dog have a disability?'”
Racholss has had spastic cerebral palsy, a spinal injury that affects her balance and her ability to breathe.
She also has autism spectrum disorder.
She was recently diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, a mental disorder that affects how she feels and what she does with her body.
Rochiel, like many dogs with spastic paralysis, has severe hearing loss and other physical problems.
Michelle Preett said she had no idea that Rachyls condition could cause her to become a viral hit.
“I’m not sure why Rachl is going viral,” Preettt told WJLA.
“There’s no reason that I wouldn’t have seen this happening.
But at the same time, we all have pets.
It just seems like a weird thing to do, and then we see a video where it’s actually happening.”
Pritchelts husband, Brian Pritchell, is an entrepreneur and owner of Pritchers Pet Food in Boston.
Pritchitt said he had no clue that Rochil had been a viral success story.
“My first thought was that maybe Rachil was being bullied, because the video is so funny,” Prierts told ABC news.
“Rachil is a really nice dog, but we have a family problem, and when it comes to dogs, I don’t want to put pressure on her.”
Brian Preetchell said he’s been trying to get Rachilets condition treated, but he hasn’t found a cure.
“For the last six years, I tried to get her on some sort of medication, and it never worked,” he told ABC.
“The only thing that worked was some kind of an electronic device.
It doesn’t work.”
Michelle Prantchell said that Raches condition has made it difficult for her to manage her two children.
“It’s hard for her because she’s always so focused on the children, and for them to take her away from them is very difficult,” she said.
“But it’s really hard for us, because we have four kids.
We want her to be happy.”
Preetcher told ABC affiliate WJHL that she has tried to contact the owners of the dogs, but they haven’t responded.
“These dogs are our life,” Prantcher said.
